The trustee board of Keeping Health in Mind have unanimously decided to close the charity in its present form. When first constituted over ten years ago the world and the Church were different places and few people were speaking about the importance of mental wellbeing in the context of Christian faith. Thankfully that is no longer the case and we have so much to be grateful for. Our Director, Ali, has worked tirelessly to keep mental health on the local, regional and national agenda while also balancing ordained ministry in the Church of England and has done a sterling job. But the time has come to rethink what we do and why we do it and as a board we are aware that the charity in its present form is no longer required. It is unlikely that you have heard the last of KHIM and certainly not of Ali, but for now this present format is being laid down while the trustees explore a new direction.
